At The Federation of Widford and Hunsdon JMI Schools we believe that children should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential in a happy, secure and disciplined environment. We strive to provide a calm, purposeful atmosphere where good behaviour, respect for others, moral development and positive relationships are encouraged so that a secure and friendly place for learning is created and maintained. Having worked closely together for a number of years, in September 2024, the schools of Hunsdon and Widford decided to officially federate and The Federation Of Widford and Hunsdon JMI Schools was born.
Initially this has allowed us to share our sites, staff and governors, but we always knew that it could be so much more! Consequently, from September 2025, we are increasing our intake to 25 children. The Widford site will be home to our Reception and Key Stage 1 classes whilst Hunsdon will house our Key Stage 2 children.
